I have the USB serial adapter cable, and the i1Display Pro.  Previously I was able to calibrate my Shogun Inferno. But now, with the new version of the calibration software it is not detecting my devices (Shogun Inferno, Ninja V and Shogun 7).

Hi, I have the same problem: cannot calibrate nor the shogun 7 or the sumo 19. Newest calibration software doesn't detect the monitors, it still says: no device. I tried with my xRite idisplay pro with which I did some calibrytion two or more years ago. Funny enough the very old 1.7 calibration utility starts the job but gives an error that the monitor is out of range. But it sees the monitor and starts calibration, so it is not the cable nor the Laptop (win) with which I work. ATOMOS, any thoughts? I just bought the Spyder and serial cable again, and again no luck! That sucks! Need help fast

I have tried installing Atomos Calibrator 2.1 on 4 different computers. 3 PCs and 1 Mac. I am using the USB-C to serial Atomos cable. Detection is possible, but calibration gives a message telling me that I need to unplug and then plug in again the x-rite. Doing this is just an endless loop. I have X-rite i1Display Pro with i1Profiler v3.3.0 and have tried earlier versions going back to 1.x of Profiler and nothing is working. I am not using the Profiler software to do calibration, I am using the Atomos Calibrator. Thanks

I am having the same issue.  I have a few older devices from atomos and a newer Shogun 7.  The Calibration software doesn't recognize my earlier Shogun models at all.  When I try to calibrate the 7 the software detects the SGN 7 then when I hit calibrate I sometimes get the unplug replug message for a bit, until it finally starts to calibrate then the software stops and gives me an error "measure error 0 nits". I have tried this over and over and over again with the same results.  I just got this iDisplay device from B&H yesterday.   I can calibrate my computer monitors fine so I know it's not the new device that is the issue.  Please advise.

I have installed Atomos Calibrator 2.1. 3. I am using the USB-C to serial Atomos cable. Detection is possible, but calibration gives a message telling me that I need to unplug and then plug in again the x-rite. Been in infinite loop with this. I have X-rite i1Display Pro plus with i1Profiler v3.3.0. Thanks

K.Soul, I had the same problem. Look for an older beta version on the web (I found an older Mac beta version which included a PC version with it). I spent days on the same problem and it solved the issue for me. Be diligent in your search for it on YouTube. FYI: Surprisingly, you don't need the X-rite software installed on the machine.

For those who are having a problem getting your device to be found, be sure to go to the INPUT section and turn on the LANC/Calibration option so your device can be detected.

I had to uninstall the xrite software ( or any other app that is trying to use the xrite) and only had the Atomos Calibrator 2 app installed.  After that it started recognizing my Ninja V.  Also you want to make sure on the Ninja V Input under Remote is set to Lanc. You can watch it here https://youtu.be/Juf_96o53uw on how to change that setting if you haven't already. Hopefully that helps.  FYI- I have usb-c connection to my pc so I got the usb-c to lanc cable which is $35 cheaper. Good luck.
